For some reason the second copy of my folding client will stop and print:

Process 460 is currently running and may also be a client with Mach. ID 2.
Program will now exit. Upon restart, this check will not be done --
you may wish to check that no client is currently running in
C:\Program Files\fah2 before restarting.

I have each client configured with different machine IDs so i have no ideal why its doing this. Both are running as a service and both start up just fine and i can see both running at the same time but then the client in C:\Program Files\fah2 likes to randomly quit. I have another computer with hyperthreading and have had two clients running for several months but have never run into this problem. Is this a problem with dual core cpus?

try removing fah2 as a service and add it back using the -local tag....its worth a shot :)

Checklist -

Shutdown the services
Check the configurations - machine ID should be different
Make sure the clients are in its own folder
Resume Client

Report back.

what do you see when you run regedit?
HKLM,System,CurrentControlSet,Services
scroll down to FAH
ImagePath should look something like

C:\Program Files\folding3\FAHConsole-5.04beta.exe -svcstart -local -verbosity 9

alright I set both to run with -local in th registry, hopefully this will fix it.
