Hahha, may be I don't like Neverwinter Nights 2 or something but i'm still in that stupid village at the start of the game.

Is anyone else boreed with this game?

May be I need to get out of the village - hahaha.

Same here. I bought the game the first week it came out. Played it for like 2 days and haven't touched it since. It's supposed to get better, but from what I've played it was boring. I may go back to it over the Christmas break.

LOL, I too am still in the first village.

I was playing it a bit and then picked up Gears of War and haven't touched nwn2 since then...

The first village is quite slow to get through, and is probably the one reason I hate playing the OC over again: the starting area is just such trash. Thankfully, you can skip almost all of it by simply escaping through all the dialog and power gaming your way through the encounter. The quickest way through IMO is using a human fighter with the feats power attack, cleave, and great cleave, using a greatsword. Any henchmen you recieve should also get these skills ASAP. Since most creatures have about 10hp, you can easily chop your way through the "starting area."

Even if you're a thief, finesse warrior, mage, or otherwise, I highly recommend grabbing the biggest metal thing you can see and swinging at the enemy repeatedly. :p

The music in that village grates on my nerves - I hate it with a passion. It makes me want to smash my computer to bits.

And that stupid flute sound - uugghhh.

I didn't find the tutorial section boring.
I saw it as an intro.

*spoiler warning*

And it pissed me off when the female friend died and it was out of my control.
So there was already character attachment there.

It does get better after you leave the village though.

Wow this is wierd. i made it to the Inn just outside the town and stopped cold there 3 weeks ago.

And i'm back to playing wow.
