im surprised there is no thread for this game... maybe the wii and ps3 wait caused this game to be release under the radar... its a beat game for the DS

but i have to say... its a marvelous game . At first i didnt like it ... the beat werent easy to follow but the harder level are better because you need to tap your screen way more often.. im really enjoying to try to raise my high score!

ive check gamespot and IGN and they both think its an unique game... ive seen this game going for 20-30 $ , dont miss it because of some really lame tracks... the mechanic of the game alone deserve a 9/10

enthusiam! great!

maybe niot the ''best'' in my book ... but its a top 3 game for sure! and the use of the touchscreen is perfect...

oh ... if you buy it ... get a screen protector... the spinner could hurt your screen badly!

lol you have no idea how bad I am at DDR. I'm fairly coordinated for the most part (been ice skating/rollerblading most of my life), but my brain just explodes when it comes to DDR. I did ok playing SF Alpha 3 on DDR mats though :D

If the US version is anything like the original japanese version I played..

Then it will be AWESOME

It's like watching a music video where your ability reflects what happens on the top screen.

from what i read ... the US version is harder on the first level of difficulty

i definitly think thats it harder than the original (japenese version) and honestly i hate some of the songs, some of them just dont have a good beat... but its still a kick ass game

i agree ... some song do not have the right beat for a beat game...

like this song in the father is dead part of the game...

i do not remember the name of the sond

I have the Japanese Version of this title Ossu! Takate! Ouendan! (Go! Fight! Motivational Squad! more or less)

I've been considering getting the USA version, but I hear that the songs are much less catchy . Can anyone post a song list? I'm not a big fan of american pop music...Thanks.

New Super Mario Bros. gives it a run for it's money. Also Trauma Center, Mario Kart, Final Fantasy III, and soon Castlevania: POR will all give DOS a run for the "best game on DS".

i found new super mario pretty shallow... and boring compared to super mario world... the power ups management in nsmb is really bad...

hehehe... to each his own.. i'm sure elite beats is fun.... i just like castlevania too much though lol..

I have nearly all S rank scores on Insane mode on the original (Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!). It's easily one of the best if not the best game for the DS.

Word to the wise though, if you're gonna get this game, I suggest you get a screen protector because you WILL scratch your screen on the spinners.

The Hori DS LIte screen protectors are the best. They're not available anymore in stores like EB but I was lucky enough to have a local shop that carries a ton of em.

I'm a huge fan of Castlevania and especially Castlevania DoS, but for a Nintendo DS game, Elite Beat Agents beats it I think. Quite possibly the best game on the DS. New Super Mario Bros sucks...

I'm working hard to unlock Kahn though:D. I MUST see him dance with the divas!
