I just dl the lastest nvidia drivers (93.71) and nTune. The driver install went fine. I actually gained a few points from the version I was running (which was old school, coolbit hack shit, lol), but then I installed nTune and when I tried to launch it, my system hard locked. After that I am even unable to open the nvidia control panel to adjust normal options.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I have come to this conclusion.....nTune is crap for real overclocking. It has some good features, but OCing CPUs is not one of them. Get in the BIOS and do it by hand.

it locked my system up a few times too. im sure its common, because it locked al older system of mine up as well.

Did you ever find a work-around? My system seems to be preforming well with the new drivers, but I would really like to overclock my 7900GTX a little.

Thanks

it's you mobo thats the problem.

update the bios. even with the bios updated it's still not %100 on that board.
also make sure to set your bios settings to auto on this board when useing ntune or it causes bsod.

Is there a specific video setting in the BIOS you are refering to? I am not going to undo all my cpu overclock setting just so I can overclock my gpu...that wouldn't make sense.

Theres no setting, you have to update your motherboard bios to Bios 1303 for ntune to work with A8N32.

Ahh, I see. The last time I tried the 1303 BIOS, I lost many settings crucial to overclocking such as most voltage setting. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
