300GB SATA $69 Shipped

Can anyone confirm that these may also be 7200.10 with actually 320 gig mfgd by Seagate? I bought a 300 gig Maxtor PATA on Black Friday for $59, that actually turned out to be a 320gig Maxtor that said "Made by Seagate" and a nice "7200.10" on the bottom sticker. :D

Probably gonna get one....can anyone recommend a decent enclosure that would go well with this HD?

Might want to revise your post to add *$69 shipped!

*unless you have a Fry's in your state in which case tax applies.

Good deal anyway though..

better deal then the seagate 400GB for $99.99
$0.23/gig compared to $0.25/gig

Looks like some bought, so I'll ask again....

Can anyone confirm if these are .10's?

Thanks

seagate had a 3 year waranty but still a very hot deal

i purchased one yesterday... hoping its a seagate .10 also.... but checking back here to see if someone can confirm or deny it

Looks like the deal is dead... $139.99 now
I'm glad I got the order in yesterday :D

I don't know what is with the back and forth pricing...but the drive is now selling for 59.99!!! Even better than the original deal!!

in the event that this becomes available again, does anyone know if you can use google checkout there? thanks.

Shows $59.99 for me. I really need a new hd too, thanks!

[Edit]
Shows $59.99 on the site but is $69.99 when you add it to the cart.

I dont know what other peoples problems were but I got mine for 59.99 :) Shipped already and should be getting it tomorrow :D

Looks like:
PATA version: You will most likely get Seagate
SATAI ($59.99): You will most likely get Maxtor
SATAII ($69.99): You will most likely get Seagate

Technically they are all made by Seagate anyways. (for those who don't know already, Maxtor got bought out by Seagate) Good price though. I'm not real surprised since the 250GB Seagates have fluttered around this price after rebates and sometimes without for about a year now.

I think the SATAI might be old Maxtor stock since most seem to be in the old Maxtor box with a 1 year warranty (vs. 3 year on the "new" Maxtors) unless they already ran out of those.

Ebay seems to have these going for around this price pretty consistent right now after shipping costs. (or at least for the last couple weeks) If they are the ones with 3 year warranties, there is where the hot part of the deal is.

Tracking shows I get mine tomorrow. Its sitting at a DHL facility about 10 miles from me though and I can't pick it up from there.

$70 deal still alive here. 23c/gig is a great deal for a general storage drive, especially w/ 16mb buffer.

I'm going to jump on it now that seagate/maxtor bumped the warranty back up to 3 years.

Estimated delivery is tomorrow for me, but it's "with delivery courier" now so maybe I'lll get a surprise today.

Mine says will be delivered tomarrow also. I hope it's with the 3 year warranty also. But I think it's the 1 year warranty though.

Either way....Drop it like it's Hot! ;)
