Ever now and then my computer, after booting, will hang at the windows screen. It will then give me an error, nv4_disp, stating that the video driver is stuck in an infinite thread. It says to update your drivers to the most current or the problem is the hardware itself.
Now the solution to my problem is to roll back my drivers to 78.01. Once I do this the problem is cured. I dont know whether the video card (7800GTX OC) itself is the problem or the drivers. Does this qualify for a RMA? Anyone have a clue? Thanks.
