Help with 1/2 second blue screen

I recently began having a problem with my computer where while playing WC3, my computer randomly crashes. Here's what happens: everything seems fine, then my screen freezes for a 1/2 second, then I get a 1/2 second blue-screen, after which my screen goes black. My computer then either restarts or just sits there with the black screen and my fans still running. This occurs even at times when there is little action on screen.

I realize that the blue screen of death should give me information on what's wrong, but it flashes for only ~1/2 second, giving me no time to read anything. I suspect that some parts in my PC may be overheating since I had a somewhat similar problem about a month ago with my CPU overheating - but this is only a hunch. Anyone have a better idea of what's going on?

Thanks in advance!!

What is the hardware specs, sounds like either your video card is overheating, or proc. Or could be memory realted. There are many different kinds of software to monitor the heat on video cards and procs.

set your system to not restart immediately after a bsod.
[Windows Key] + [Pause/Break] -> Advanced tab, Startup and Recovery Settings, System Failure, UNCHECK "Automatically Restart"

Then post the BSOD Stop error code for more help.
