So i put ten screws into my cart on newegg cuz i really want some thumbscrews. well check this shit out.

why is ups second day cheaper than three day? why is fedex 2 day cheaper than ups three day? why is newegg anally raping the shit out of hardforum members on shipping and you've not address this as you're getting such a nice paycheck from them for advertising them on your forum? id like some insight. thanks kyle ;-)

i never actually had to buy thumbscrews, a guy i know just gave a bucket of em to me. but can you just pick some up at home depot? they should have em...

Your insulting the forum, kyle, and newegg. This post is NOT going to go well.

Just because faster shipping is cheaper doesnt mean they are trying to "rape" you.

well this post is more than just the screws i mean i can come up with fifty examples of stuff i actually wouldve bought if not for shipping i want to know whats up with this shipping calculation newegg has implemented.
 
On second thought WTF is your problem? Where do you even come off insulting everything and everybody like this just because one shipping is cheaper then the next?

Not to mention, newegg has NO way of selecting hardforum members from anyone else, so saying "they are trying to rape hardforum members" is absolute 100% bullshit.

no. the rape occurs when i am charged over $18 by default for ten screws.if i had doubled it to twenty, the default shoots up to almost double that.

Maybe they've had a surplus lately of 2 day shipping, so those companies are offering it for cheaper.

Or maybe they havent sold any of those thumbscrews in a while, so they offered you cheaper faster shipping to relieve some stock that is sitting there taking up money.

i wasnt saying selectively raping. im just saying all the people who buy stuff from newegg who click on the banner from Hardforum helps pay for hardocp and hardforum and im saying its not right that these shipping rates are being charged and im curious as to why kyle hasnt addressed this before.

I dont see the point of this post. I have tried to order stuff from the egg before and when shipping was too much, I went else where. No need to make a scene, just shut up and try another store. Kyle and newegg provide great services are resources to us and we should be thankful. I would pay to access HardOCP and since I dont have to why should any of question the ads that are placced on the site. I have never had a problem with newegg and will always stand by them!!!!!!

Edit*** True, he may be trying to get attention but calling into question someone (kyle) who works so hard for countless numbers of people is just wrong. Im not trying to feul the problem but does everything need to be addressed especially in the manner the OP chose?

All im saying is i havent seen kyle address the rediculous shipping costs newegg charges. but anyway basically in business who are you more loyal to? those who indirectly give you your paycheck? or those who directly do? think about it.

no basically ive noticed everytime someone to question Hardocps motives or actions they get banned. im saying this is an entirely valid statement. and if anyone else said oh nvidia is raping me amd is raping me intel is raping me ati is raping me on such n such high end card, they dont get in trouble but if they say a sponsor of hardocp is raping them, they get in trouble. and newegg is raping many of us on shipping And if as you say the loyalty is truly to the readers why hasnt kyle addressed the Monarch situation with how many hardforum and hardocp reads getting screwed

I think its pretty clear that he isnt joking, judging by his post after yours:

I'm not trying to squelch the OP's gripes, just that this is not an appropriate venue for ranting. Kyle has absolutely nothing to do with newegg's shipping policies/prices.

I'd suggest you try contacting newegg directly, or perhaps via PM here, as Newegg Webmaster regularly posts in the Hotdeals forum.
