Fear XP FPS Issue

I have quad SLI and whenever I go to test my settings within the game I always get an average FPS of 34 ...even If I go down in resolution or if I change my AA to 2x from 4x...what gives...for one thing I should be getting higher FPS...and well...changes should effect the FPS

Did you make sure vsync is off? That's the only thing that I can think would do something like this.
 
yea, as previously mentioned cheack if VSYNC is on. other than that its probably a game bug, like CoH and SLi, or something to that effect.
 
It probably doesn't really recognize it's quad so it messes up, the Steam version of Dark Messiah does the same thing when you have SLI enabled, horrible frames. Bet they just have to release a patch for it

don't think it is that...FEAR has been tweaked prep'd in conjunction with nvidia since, well, a long time ago...hmm maybe I'll reinstall vid drivers or something
