I know there have been quite a few posts on this LCD, I've read quite a few of them on many forums, actually since it first hit the scene, but now that it's been around for some time, how has this LCD turned out?

I know at times there will be panel revisions, so I was wondering if this LCD has seen one or two updates, and what the overall response is on this LCD now that some time has lapsed since it came out, good, bad or otherwise?

Well I think I'm going to order one, just wish they where in all black.

Anyone know a better deal out there then NewEgg, and would trust?

This may seem awfully shallow but...I would have probably paid the hefty price for the 20WMGX2 if they had shown a little imagination with the stand design, and like the gentleman above said have it come in black also. (and without the puffy, raised bezel) I know the most important thing is the actual performance but that particular model is just an asthetic/ergonomic mess to my eyes....including the little drop down control button panel and the uninteresting and somewhat cheap looking back casing. My Acer F-20 may not have the same performance as the NEC (still very good though) but it absolutely kills it in the looks department.

Well, I have an L shaped desk which leaves the front and rear of the monitor visible in the room...style (but not tacky bling) is also very important to me. I have a glossy black case with large window and blue led fans...black Saitek keyboard with blue led's...Razer Diamondback plasma (blue led) mouse...so naturally my F-20 with it's glossy black bezel and blue power light fit right it and looks great from the front and rear. I would be all over the 20WMGX2 if the outer design came anywhere close to the Acer or maybe the Asus PW201.

Well I ordered it in black-silver, I'll let you guys know how I like it when it arrives.

The looks of the F-20 are likely a matter of individual preference. I would prefer a monitor to look much more subdued than shiny red and black. I own neither, but I would actually pay more money for the NEC because I find the F-20 over the top. Though I actually prefer the current Dells to both. Thin bezels simple, functional stand.

It looks that way in pictures (pics seem bright and garish) but if you ever see one in person you will see that it really isn't like that...in fact from the frontal view the only red you can see is from the "feet" of the stand and the rest is glossy black which looks pretty classy. I'm not a F1 fan and even though I think Ferrari's are cool looking they have never been my favorite dream car or anything..
I agree that the Dell 2007FPW is very stylish yet understated and if it had a glossy coating on the screen it would be a near perfect monitor for the price. Sadly, I can't stand the anti-glare and a friend is going to buy mine this weekend. :(

Ok the machine has arrived.

She's sitting at home waiting for me to get off work and go home and rip her out of her box.

WooT Weekend gaming is here. ;)

I'll let you guys know how it goes.

I've had mine for a few months now and I use this machine for gaming. Easily the best screen I've ever owned.
