a setting to let your vid card run in sync with your monitors refresh rate to reduce tearing ex-vsync enable 60Hz, ur vid card will only go up to 60fps

im using 85 hz refresh rate so i don't know why it'd be doing that :/

try running with low resolution and ingame settings at lowest

85hz in Windows, or games? You set them differently, ya know.

check your driver settings to see if Vsync is on. Vsync is where your graphic card outputs as fast as your monitor can handle (the refresh rate). sometimes, people have really fast systems or really shitty monitors, and the graphics start to tear, which is why there's that option. check to see if it's on. if it is, disable it.
