i just ran the free version of 3dmark, and in my detailed results it says the frontside bus of my 4400+ x2 is 200mhz. . . isnt it suppose to read 2000?

still got a decent score: 10083

200mhz is correct so dont worry. hopefully someone else can give you a detailed explanation since I dont think I could do a very good job of it. ;)

eh, who needs details anyway. i asked another friend of mine whos into hardware and he said as long as the speed is listed correctly i have nothing to worry about

cpu-z lists the htt, the base clock

from that, there is the cpu multi, which obviously sets cpu speed
and ht link (ldt) multi, which sets the speed of the link between the cpu and chipset, which is supposed to be 1000mhz, or 2000mhz effective ;)

Its akin to DDR memory, right?

10,000!? Was that 3dMark '03? Thats pretty good, and it its 3dMark '06, then you got me beat by probably 4 years :D
