Also I think it might actually be cheaper than that

G7 = $63
G15 = $70
Subtotal: $133

minus:
$50 bundle rebate
$30 mouse rebate
Final total: $53

Now that's a Hot deal! Unless the Mouse rebate is canceled out by the combo rebate?
 
I doubt the rebates stack. But still a pretty good deal. I don't mind the blue/silver. The black would cost more than $10,I have not seen a rebate on the black ones.

You're right. The cheapest black one I found in my quick search was $68 @ Amazon.

I was thinking about when I was shopping for them the other day.....the cheapest green one I saw was about $60 and the cheapest black one was about $70....hence my $10 comment.

When the black costs $30...........that makes me consider the green.
 
I meant theres a chance to get the black one beceause online retailers are notorious for not updating their graphics even if there is a product update. I bought a G7+G15 from Mwave.com for $90 total, with the Green one pictured, but got sent the black.

I sold the black one for somewhere aroudn $85 since it was a brand new product, and got a G15 for $5. :)
 
thats a pretty good deal! I have a G7 in green and wouldnt mind if it was a black, then I'd sell my old g7 and after rebate it would = a hot deal.

Logitech has been giving me a royal run-around concerning a similar deal MWave had in July. I purchased the G7/G15 combo, sent in the rebate form exactly as described, and Logitech refused it. "Both purchases must be on the same receipt" was their excuse, despite both items not only being on the same receipt, but ON THE SAME LINE.

Four times refused, four times resubmitted, and in desperation I CC:ed MWave support in on the traffic. Kudos galore to those folks, as they took up the battle and made Logitech see sense. When that check hits here, it'll most likely be spent at MWave. :D

I'll be shopping around for HTPC gear in the near future. I've been buying Logitech gear since the day of the C7 "cheese wedge" mouse, but that's going to change as a result of this fiasco. One thing that won't change is dealing with MWave. Recommended dealer!

How is that G5? I currently have an MX510 and am looking for an upgrade for gaming. The G7 was going to be my next mouse before I heard that router, etc interfere with the frequency.
 
i like my G5. there aren't quite as many buttons for IE navigation, but it's more accurate than any optical mice i've used to date. being able to adjust the dpi on-the-fly is also nice, especially in FPS games. my only gripe w/ it is that i'm still trying to find the right weight combination for my G5. right now it's either too light or heavy.

IMO i think the G7 would be a good wireless replacement for my G5, but i just dropped some money on a new LCD monitor...

I think so. But there's the possibility of shipping from different warehouse which don't have the black one. Its a gamble.
Anyway, there no free shipping on the mouse alone anymore, so the G7 is now $40 shipped after rebate.

the black one?!? IM IN. is just me or does the price keep goin lower?? it keeps going lower by a few bucks. but if its the black one, thisis a great deal.

do they both come in one box??
cause it says my g15 was shipped but not the g7 :confused:
the g7 still says "sent to warehouse"..its been like that since saturday(9/16) when i ordered everything....
 
They are separate items. But both were shipped in the same box to me.
I also had a $10 case fan in the same order, but for some reason, it was shipped in a separate package the next day even though it looked like it was shipped from the same warehouse. Don't know why they did it that way, dont seem very efficient to me.
But in your case, it probably means they ran out of G7 and are waiting for more.
 
Ordered mine Tuesday night with Fedex ground shipping. Got confirmation of order at 12:03AM Wednesday morning. Showed up on my doorstep today (Thursday). That's some serious order processing there! And yes, it's the black one. :)

Grr. I'm in the same boat as the guy previous to you. I ordered last Friday, 9/15. It went to 'Sent to Warehouse' on Monday, the 18th... now it's Thursday the 21st and it still hasn't budged from 'Sent to Warehouse.'

So they're still shipping ones out? I'm going to bother them via phone tomorrow.

update: i bothered them. i could barely understand the guy on the phone, but i got a 'this is a delay, it is expected. just be patient.' grumble.

I really want to lean hard on someone there, but I've got no idea what avenues are open to me.

Damn, I almost feel bad that I ordered mine after you and I got it in a day and a half (the key word there is almost ;) ).

Lean on them about this. As of 2:49 EDT on 9/22/06, Buy.com says:

In Stock: Usually Ships in 1 to 2 business days."

Have them explain to you their definition of 1) In Stock and 2) business days.

Guy on the phone just told me it's backordered now. Really, wtf. :eek: The website is supposed to be updated within ~24 hours to reflect it being out of stock.

He confirmed that my order was placed on the 15th, and after grasping the full scope of how much time has already passed, said something along the lines of it's being kicked up to a higher level and they'll be calling me in a few days, but otherwise there's nothing I can do but wait and see. I'll see what happens.
 
really? mine just got shipped today. i placed my order last night. maybe its from a different warehouse.

Seriously, I ordered mine at about 11PM Tuesday night and it was on my porch before 11AM Thursday morning. And that was Fedex GROUND. Shipped out of Mishawaka, IN and I'm near Detroit. Call those friggin' asshats and tell them to find one in the system. Obviously they have them in stock somewhere.

I just sent buy.com as email...hopefully they will respond to it...i ordered mine on 9/16 and it pisses me off that people ordered theirs on 9/21 and have it already....i want my mouse buy.com :mad:
i did get the g15 though, and its so niceeeee..and the box they shipped it in was 3X bigger than the keyboard box.... :rolleyes:
