hey guys,

is there a way to split a single mp3 file into multiple files (read tracks)
the cue is there with all the info, so ideally a program where i can load the cue and it'll do all the splitting would be great

thx

I don't know of one that will do it like that. But if you don't mind doing it manually, just use Audacity.

well its one track that is made up of multiple songs

so basically instead of ripping the CD as several tracks that are on the CD, it was ripped as one track (which can be done in EZCD)

the program above didnt work btw

any suggestions?

mp3directcut does it, minus the cue file.

nevermind: mp3directcut DOES it, incl. cue sheet.

I've used audacity in the past for this. Just load the mp3. highlight the portion of the file you want to isolate as a single track, and I think it's something like "save selection as mp3". Audacity is free and simply rawks!

Nero's got a thing like that that does the same thing.

mp3directcut worked perfect
thanks fellas
no problem. Looking at it made me realize that mp3directcut is a pretty powerful, small and free utility. :)
