I got mine (512mb version) for $235 AR from Newegg like 2 weeks ago. From what I saw, the sub $250 1900's will be 256mb.

well considering the reseller ratings and people's personal experience you might get screwed. Whats more likely to happen is you wont get your card til later part of this month when it really ships.
 
I cancelled my order after I saw that reseller garbage. MAN I NEED A NEW VIDEO!!! WHEN IS THIS PUPPY COMING OUT?!?!
 
Doesn't seem like anyone has the X1950 Crossfire Edition in stock at the moment. Some etailers are expecting stock 21-25th of this month.
 
the X1950Pro will be out in october, 256mb verison will be $199USD, 512mb $240USD

i've only seen the sapphire X1900XT 256mb on eWiz for $249USD which is really tempting for me. :)
 
Is it worth it to buy this card? Or should I wait until Vista comes out?

I have a 850xt-pe right now.
 
this is one badass card and i would say its worth it, but definetly find a better reseller

CF edition is so you can use the dongle, which is required for the high end cards (X1800XT and up)

I wonder if you can do the X1800XL's in CF mode with out a CF card...
 
the angle of the dongle is inversely proportional to the heat of the meat.. lol. j/k
it's the card <---> card connection... SLI uses a bridge... soon ATi will use a bridge also.. two of them actually.. with the emergence of the x1950Pro!

Cool... I have a $50 credit with newegg. Tempting but I think I will just see how much this drives the X1900 prices down.

Bout damn time, the thing that kills CF for a lot of people is having to get a CF Edition card.

I got mine. Very nice card. Im loving the new voltage regulator heatsink. Should help with overclocking.

Anyone else got one/getting one?

I got a 10K 05 score without trying. Stock clocks on vid card and cpu. No tweaks or nothin.

Oh yeah, this thing is QUIET. The fan speeds up randomly during games, but is inadible during everything else.
 
I'm a little jealous that you have yours, I am still awaiting pricing from "my guy" I've got a new monitor, MOBO,CPU,heat sink fan all just collecting dust till it arrives.
 
Fry's in Sac just got some yesterday and I picked one up. X1950XTX for $499.99

Very heavy but so much quieter than X1900XTX. I love it except the beta drivers that come with it are causing problems with CS:Source.

Beta Drivers? I used the x64 drivers from ati.com... 6.8 to be exact. :confused:
