CircuitCity - 50 pack DVD+/-R Media $12.99 No Rebate

could someone run dvd indentifier on their disks and let us know who's making and the ID? In the past it was CMC, which has some good disks, but most are in the tier 3 and Tier 4. I generally stick with Taiyo Yuden to be safe (and I wish they'd start making DL disks).

I can try this when I get home tonight. Where can I get an Identifier?

The tops of the DVD-R's are Red, and the +R's are gold.. if this is any help.

http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/ and http://www.digitalfaq.com/downloads/dvdinfo/dvdinfo.zip

are free.

you can get a trialware version of dvdinfopro here

If you're on a mac there's one at the bottom of this page

I've still got some old Fuji's, but I wish more companies would use Taiyo Yuden. Oh well guess the days of cheap top tier disks (at B&M no less) are gone.

If you buy two you get 100 DVD+Rs for only $26.00 or so shipped.

12.99 + 12.99 good addition ;) LOL

I just bought a $14 50 pack of 16x of memorex from Tiger Direct's outlet.

Just wandered into a circuit city on my lunch break and found these. Hard to beat that price for 16x. They had both +R's and -R's in stock, and tons ofem.

Bonus for me is that New Hampshire is sales-tax free :)

So is Delaware (where I live, and random trivia, Oregon is the only other state in the nation that is, never lived there though (did live in NH for a couple years, you at least have a cooler license plate slogan than we do)).

which code was it?

CMCMAGD01, CMCMAGE01, CMCMAGF01, CMCMAGM01, CMCMAGR01, CMCMAGAE1, CMCMAGAF1, CMCMAGAM3, CMC00RG20, CMC00RG30, CMCMAG, CMCW02, CMCW03, CMCMAGW01 or something else (please list it, as CMC media can range from good media to long lasting landfill.

Thanks

I bought 2 spindles of the DVD-R to qualify for free shipping. I did have to cough up $1.30 in taxes...

Still a good deal though.

It just so happens that I am down to about 25 DVD-R's. I now need to look around for some CD deals as I am down to only about 4 or 5 blank CDs...

NOTE: The link goes to the DVD-R's....not the DVD+R's that are depicted in the photograph at the link.

I picked up 4 more cakes in addition to the 1 i bought earlier this week.

the portsmouth, NH circuit city is now officially out of the -R's

these are available for sale locally however for $15 :D

So, CC is my destination right after work, I hope they still have them, though.

I don't have to go to school today, and I've been putting this off. I'm gonna hit them up while I get some Sonic for breakfast.

I want the 4 dollar staples 25 pack dvd+/-r deal again! That was a sweet one, no limit on how many you bought.

You could get 100 for 16 bucks!!! (my addition is good too :p )
