Any suggestions on which I should go for to cool a core 2 duo build?

I have a Scythe Mine on my E6300, and at 2.8 GHz it idles at 32 C and loads (dual prime) at 48. Highly recommend it as its also very easy to mount (same as the stock cooler) and is quite a bit lighter than other coolers such as the Scythe Ninja or Tuniq Tower 120.

Did you upgrade the fan in yours?

These two cooling solutions aren't really comparable :p The Scythe Mine/Ninja are good air coolers, but the Vapochill will destroy them.

If you aren't benching, don't put that money out for phase cooling. If you need to ask whether it's worth it, phase is overkill for your system.

I could be wrong, but something tells me its more likley hes comparing that then a scythe mine to a phase change system.
