How long is the 7950GX2 physically (eVGA)? I read in a FiringSquad review that it is 9 inches, is this correct, or is it more/less? If anyone has an exact measurement from the bracket to the end of the card, can you let me know :)? Thank you!

well... I don't have a ruler with me so let me....
....
yep, its def. a nine inch card.

9 inches is corrrect. It's pretty much the same size (length and width) as a 7800 512 GTX or 7900 GTX, or a X1900. It's a bit ligther than my 7800 512 GTX's since it doesn't have the high metal heatsink.

I need to know since I have modded my Q-Pack SFF system to use standard ATX boards, and the length I have that I could fit a videocard in is 9 and 1/4 inches (9.25"). So the verdict is that it is DEFINITELY exactly 9 inches? Thanks again for the helpful replies.

I hope u know i had to reboot cause of U!!!! I had a metal tape measure (metal and electricity dont mix) and its 9" on the dot for me. I use an XFX, but it should be the same across the board, as the diffrence is clock speed, and a sticker......

also u know about the heat issues right?.....SFF cases wont help that all. 60C at idle for me, and 72C load.....and thats with 7 case fans too!!!!

Haha, sorry about that :D! Thank you a lot for taking the measurement... and thanks for the digit-life link too (purgatory). On heat, yeah, that's gonna be an issue, but if I have to, I'll add an extra fan in (actually, I do think I'll have to :)).

Yeah, I mean just keep an eye out, as those temps will climb in a smaller case. Just so long as ur not idleing at 70C or higher, and not reaching over 90C U should be okay. Extra fans will help. I stuck 2 dedicated 70mm fans on my 7950, and it brought idle temp from 66C to 60C and load temp from 82-84C to 72-73C........quite a diffrence

is there a link to a picture anywhere showing different 7 series cards?
