Steelpad S&S is the best hard pad on the market if you're willing to pay the price. You won't be disappointed though. :)
 
fUnc 1030 Archetype.

A great mouse pad with two sides: fine and coarse texture. Only downer is the rubber feet seem to break free of the adhesive holding them on. A little super glue fixed that though.
 
fUncpad F10.S Large. I use it with my g7 and its GREAT. So large its wonderful. You will never egret it, the mouse glides across the huge base with the touch of a finger.
 
I'm using one of those 1030 fUnc pads with my G5... first good mouse and mousepad... just got em about 2 weeks ago. NOT liking it as much as my old MS 3 button mouse w/ a desk for a mousepad. Maybe I'll try a cloth pad, we'll see...
