So I got an NSK1300 coming my way now thanks to Antec. I might add that Antec has a great marketing department. They have been very helpful and friendly towards me...good folks ;)

Anyway, the NSK1300 is the new Aria. This case appears to be for the HTPC crowd, office man, or light gamer. Normally Antec makes great quality products so lets see where this one guys.

I was wondering if you guys had any questions for Antec before I do this review. I like to ask what everyone else is asking (as I did with the Qmicra and Micro Fly) so be sure to let me know!

i have a question, will they be offering it in more than one color?

hmm, that is a rather obvious question to ask...lol, you think I would have already asked that one :) Anyway, I'll find out for ya!

Sorry..But I dont see any differences to the original.

I guess one picture wont show it..but it looks the same..wonder if it has better airflow.

New name...but prolly same ol product..looks like a new face...but thats about it.

Could be, that was one of the questions I already asked Antec (what are the differences).

the new one looks like it doesnt have a flash card reader on the front like the old aria has

since it will almost certainly use it's own proprietary psu, it would be a lot easier to work with if the psu is as easily removed as an atx one. also, what connectors and how many. is it a new aria with redesigned internals or just a faceplate change. that's all the questions i can think of.

Antec has been great with answering my questions as well as some of yours. Here is a something from Antec marketing which might help. This information will be used when I review the case :) Hope it helps!

- What are some differences between NSK 1300 and the Aria?
Antec realized that Aria was often requested and used by professional system builders but the price was a little bit too high. When they were designing the New Solution Series cases, they decided to make the following few modifiications and include this product in the more cost effective New Solution Series case line.

1. No card reader included
2. Steel instead of aluminum for the internal structure of the case
3. Updated the power supply to the ATX 2.0 version
4. Aria was dark blue and the NSK1300 is black.

- What are the design reasons for not having a case fan?
There is a case fan, it is the system blower and recommend that people use it for most systems.

- Will this case be priced the same and have the same availability as the Aria?
The NSK 1300 is about 15% less expensive than Aria.

I got the case today :) It is steel but will probably be silent as it has the same kind of "wall" as the other Antec quiet cases. The design is much like the Aria (which I think is a good plan)..I like it :)

I'll be interested to know what kind of heatsink you can fit into it. Can you tell us how much clearance there is above the CPU socket. It might be possible to put in Scythe Ninja - doubtful though. If not, maybe the Scythe Ninja Micro.
