I fellow Aurora user, how do you like it? Nice setup too!

It's great. I have this plan to build a conroe rig in the silver one, and get the same monitor in silver too, so that way its really neat looking. (I love this case)

I just registered at their web site. I am gonna try to make it! Sounds cool just not sure if I should bring my ALX or my laptop.

Ya I brought my laptop to the 5th PDXLAN and my desktop to the 3rd one so I think I'm going to bring both this time...one for the lan and then one to bring with me to surf the net in the hotel :)

I have to clean my desk and wires on the floor and rearange speakers positions and tilt them. Also my computer case is going to the left side of the table. Amplifier is going to another desk, you can see it to the left in first image.

At the corner of the intersecting wall, there is two white bar extending to the ceiling, what's that?

heat pipes, about 25cm from the speaker. but i rearrange speaker positon since that photo, now they are slightly away from corner and tilted. corners are bad positions any speaker.

OEM, is that a corded phone? Haven't seen one in ages :D

Yeah, I have a cordless just outside the frame but the corded one is for when the power is out or when the cordless goes dead. I forget to charge it sometimes. =\

Ah what the hell...here's mine. Just got the Dell 2407 recently.

actually this thread show that money can buy really expensive toys, doesnt men the owners are really happy with it, they are always improving on what they just bought. I guess you are happy for the first 30 minutes, then its back to what else they can afford :D

QFT!!! Well, i'm happy, but I live in a condo, but compared to the sardine cans most apartments and condos are like in New York, then I can't complain too much. I live alone, so it's fine, but because of the lack of size, I can't go all out with what I want to do entertainment wise, which is get a real home theater, much bigger TV and real home theater sound system. So, i'm not happy about that. I can't wait to leave NYC, so that I can get decent housing. I'm shocked at what friends and family are paying for rent in other states. They have much bigger places than I do, and pay a third of the living expenses. This place sucks for living, don't come here. I mean, some crappy apartments in so-so areas are like $2000 a month.

But mail order brides are life long happines!

Just kidding, From what I'm told since I've only been here about 2 monts is that a kid at work just got one. 3 months later she wants to leave him. So now hes all depressed and shit and was showing up to work a hour late on a daily basis. He blamed it on her. Everyone says hes on his way out the door.

Let that be a lession to everyone.

Never posted here before, but I've been a long time lurker. Just graduated high school, so the funds are limited; be kind. Some of you guys have incredible setups, by the way.

Comments welcome!

Systex...nice setup. Pretty sweet stuff with college in mind. Are you using that Linsys wireless gaming adapter with your PC? If so, did you have to do anything special for it. I have one that I was thinking of trying for my spare rig.

Yes; all that for a high school graduate. Working hard in school has paid off with an excellent technical job. I work 40 hrs/week and take no money from my parents. I pick and choose what I spend my money on carefully. It's been years since I've gone to a fast food restaurant; I'd simply rather invest in electronics and computers than spend five or ten bucks every night eating out and going to movies. To each his own, I suppose. :)

To Firefox90--It's not currently being used, but I have used it and was very pleased with it. It takes some initial setup (unfortunately, I found no way around using the supplied software CD), but after that I forgot about it and it simply works. It's a bit expensive (look around though; I found mine for $65 after some rebates), but it works without a hitch.

same with me... i just got out of high school and in my room i have the 3 computers in my sig, enough spare parts for a fourth (axp rig) but i dont see the need. I also have a 27" flat screen tv, surround sound, xbox, 5 disc dvd player, vcr :p, and i paid for it all myself except the laptop was a graduation gift/college requirement. A high school kid can get some good stuff without being spoiled, its just the lazy kids who are spoiled that give us a bad rep :D

must be nice having your parents pay for everything but your toys.

Actually I paid for every bit of it except the stuff I got for my birthday\christmas. Which is not much, and the bit of stuff i got from my brother (really old parts he gives to me).

However you probably wont believe me, so i shouldnt bother.

I also built every single computer :D And im planning on dry ice cooling my test rig, should be fun

I figured that. I mean they pay for everything like rent and utilities.

I could have a killer setup too if I didn't have any bills to speak of. Oh to be 18 again... :)
