I can't get the thing to post, I've tried two different power supplies and still no luck. Made sure everything was connected, double checked the leads from the case front for the power switch, made sure it wasn't grounding, and a variety of other things. What is wrong any suggestions?

What beeps are you geting? Are you even getting that far? Reset the CMOS. Try reseating the RAM, CPU. It could be a variety of things.

Nevermind - Im not familiar w/ the AM2 and DDR2, but I would bet if anything this could be the problem.

No beeps no nothing. I wish there were the diagnostic LED's on the board, but no joy there. I've already reseated the CPU, I would think if the RAM was in there correctly it would at least post and then give an error or beep or something. I've pulled the battery, switched the reset jumper. Nothing has worked so far. I've tried to boot it with just the video card and ram, no luck there either. I'm beginning to think the MOBO was DOA or the cpu is. I don't know what else to check. I am going to slot the memory in 3 and 4 when I get home to see if that fixes it, I've read of problems this MB is having with 800mhz Ram in slot 1 so maybe that's it. Anything else I can check? Or anyway to tell which is dead the mobo or the cpu.

I seriously doubt it's the CPU. Get the PSU tested first then RMA the mobo.
