Since we've seen all the news about bad 7900s, how many people have a working card at the moment that they have had for at least a two months with no issues?

I've had my 7900GT/eVGA since 3/9 and I have had no problems with it whatsoever. :)

My XFX is working great (even better since I got a VF900 installed on it yesterday - can you say 35C idle? :D), but I have a friend who bought the exact same card and he had to get his replaced because it would freeze and/or blue screen the system when doing the FEAR benchmark and game intro. However, his replacement is working fine.

The one in my sig has performed flawlessly so far..Even did a mild OC but saw no real difference so its running stock now..650/800

Have had my EVGA 7900 GT CO Superclocked since 3/28 and it
works perfectly.

Both of my 7900GTX's are working perfectly. One is an XFX Extreme and the other is an eVGA.

I love my 7900GT :D
I bought it around the end of March, and so far, works perfect. I've been thinking about getting another one for SLI, but right now, it pretty much handles all I throw at it. I might go with SLI when I buy my 30' monitor next month.

mine is fantastic, it works flawlessly and destroys any game i throw at it. I'll be formatting my HDD tomorrow which will fully delete the old ATI drivers on my comp so i'm guessing it'll run even better!

I've got a KO.

It runs flawless, EXCEPT in one game... which is very peculiar (America's Army). In AAO, it hiccups like once a minute. It's not that big of a deal, and only really effects me if I'm about to shoot or get shot at or something of the like.

It's weird, though... because it doesn't happen in any other game.

My XFX 7900GT is running no issues.

Was playing some BF2 and tomb raider legend last night at 1600x1200, both looked great without any hiccups.

Have had my EVGA CO since launch, voltmodded and runs smooth as can be with no problems!

had 2x evga 7900gt co sc since 3/13. voltmodded the cores to 1.4v. stock cooling. running terific, without issues. game almost everyday for a couple hours, right now playing fear and oblivion at 1920x1440 all max high quality and max aa/af. clocked to around 650/1860

Woo, sounds like good news all around.

Got my 7900 gt early april with evga stepup, not quite two months. 1.4v, 650/800, and running strong! nv silencer 5r3 and sinks on the mosfets...my god they get hot. I really hope sinking the mosfets will stop karma from killing my card right after I enter this post. *knocks on wood*

Cool, so all this bad news might just be cause people who have bad experiences make more noise than people who have had good experiences?

i was one of the first to get a 7900gt on this forum. mines been working fine since day one. volt modded it this weekend. 700mhz core, 1700mhz ram, 1.5 volts zalman vf700cu

had my xfx 7900gt the 520mhz mem clock one and its been fine so far, didnt give me the FPS i thought it would in cod2, but still works very well. Im not experiencing any problems yet and hope not to,but if one does come up,then here I come ATI x1900

have my pny 7900 gtx working great since launch. It's kinda funny because suposedly pny is "crap" according to some people. But I haven't seen anyone posting about there pny 7900gtx crapping out, of corse that could be because no one else bought 1.

I used to have XFX 7900GT that worked just fine, now I have EVGA 7900GT KO thats just fine so far

Mine seems to be working ok, Ive looped the Deep Freeze test on 3dmark06 50 times and it did not fail. However there will be those occasional moments when the card will screw up, mostly in Battlefield 2. All I do then is Alt-Tab out, go back and everything is fine. Since I did that after this happened, http://www.laidbackcrew.com/gallery/files/2/7/1/Image2.jpg I have not had any problems since.

Snagged 2 eVGA 7900GTX's the day they came out. Been running perfect in SLI ever since at 700 / 1750.

Have had my eVGA 7900GTX for about 2 months and runs awesome. Memory OC's like mad and runs cool.

I personally am very happy with this card.

I had two 7900GT KO for almost a month and they ran all my games perfect ,but on some games I had to switch drivers but no big deal,I sent them back because I wanted the 512mb version ,so I have now two 7900GTX's and no problems with them

BFG 7900GTX since the release..... Again, the only taxing game I have played is Oblivion.

I had it pushed to 700 before I read of the problems. It is now throttled down and played lightly until I can apply some heatsinks.

Be Carefull about what you say about PNY. ;)
I have the same card. Works flawlessly for more than a month now. :p

eVga 7900GTX 650/1600
I havent looped the deep freeze test as I dont have a registered version and haven't really had the desire to "get" a registeration key ;) so only ran the whole suite thru a couple times

..but have been playing CS:S for hours on end .. had one issue alt-tabbing or hitting windows key to get back to desktop of which the screen would just flicker from desktop to game over and over until I got back into the game ...that was fixed with AMD's latest driver release tho. Everything else has been peachy ..CS:S "feels" different now , and I can't really put my finger on specifics except that at first I couldnt shoot for poo-poo (worse than normal), but then seemed to be more accurate as game went on then I was on SLi

I was running 2 7800GTX'rs in SLi and explosions would cause game to lag stutter for the split seconds the explosion was going off .. now with my one 7900GTX , the explosion stutters have been cut by 2/3rds or more and are barely noticeable ..

a little more info than topic dictates , but oh well :)

I have had my XFX 7900GT since the beginning, and it is volt-modded to 1.5v @ 660mhz on the core and it runs fine. I am using a Zalman VF-700cu. I would consider it a lamer than normal overclocker though, as it took me 1.5v to get to past GTX clocks rather than the 1.4v that most are reporting

QFT - PNY makes a very decent card.. I have had two and they have both been kick ass. very good OCers and very stable.

I have two XFX 7900GT EE cards.. vgpu mod to 1.4v runnung the cores at 635 mem @ 1700.. can play Oblivion and loop deep freeze all day long with no issues at those speeds, but FEAR has issues.. I think it may be a driver thing though.. it doesn't seem to be stable at any speeds really.. taking the memory down to 1600 does improve things, but not completely. Anyways.. going to try the new 90 series drivers tonight.. hopefully that will improve the FEAR issues.. that's the only 3D app I have which doesn't work well at 635/1700..

Over 2 months with my XFX Extreme 7900GT 520/1500 oc'd to a 24/7 OC of 565/1720 without issues.
