I thought these coupons might help people thinking about this monitor. It also helps that Dell has free shipping right now, so the monitor is $529 - $60 - $20 = $449 shipped (with tax depending on where you live).

Coupon codes (combine both of them):

$20 off $150 Electronics & Accessories at Dell
Save $20 off your purchase of $150 or more in the Electronics & Accessories site with this Dell coupon

Dell Coupon Code: QGM7T0C1C2TVVD
Dell Coupon Expiration: 04/30/2006

Save $60 on electronics and accessories at Dell
Save $60 off electronics and accessories orders of $500 or more (before tax, fees, shipping, and handling) with this Dell coupon

Dell Coupon Code: $XX9BNPKP49TM0
Dell Coupon Expiration: 04/19/2006

Thank you for contacting Dell Customer Care.

Due to the nature of the industry, price fluctuations are continuous as new technologies become available on a regular basis. Because of these fluctuating prices, Dell Canada does not offer any type of price protection on the computers and equipment that we sell. We do however, endeavor to offer the lowest and best price possible to our customers at the point of sale.

We would also like you to know that we offer different promotions on different methods such as our online will be different from our TV ads and Newspaper ads.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Well I ordered one too, used the coupons, and now I'm not so sure I should have. Lots of talk about about the 2007 having bad color banding issues via the DVI connection.

Where is this talk? I haven't heard much more than some passing concern on these boards.

I'm just wondering if this LCD is HDCP compliant? Dell's website doesn't mention anything about HDCP.

noticed it was just that one guy reporting the banding problem. and maybe because he is a graphic designer, he is ultra sensitive to banding. mine should arrive either friday or next monday. i will do a test too but it's unlikely that it will affect my usage even if it's there. just a side note here, some reported banding with LG L203wt as well and using VGA seemed to solve the problem. maybe this is the norm?

According to a Extremetech review, it's HDCP compliant. However, I kinda need some sort of assurance. I don't think I can take the word of a Dell representative. Are there any documentation on dell's website that indicate HDCP compliancy?
