A64info is an overclocking tool, I presume anyone who can help me out will have heard of it. Its the PC in my config and I can only boot into safe mode now, Im doing this at 800x600.... I changed the memory divider to 166 in this software, it was at 133 with bus speed at 270. When I clicked "set" I got a crackle from my speakers and locked up, rebooted, tried changing settings in bios but it would only post and the go to a blinking cursor and no further. Bios defaults got me to the windows xp logo with the scrolling bar, this goes for about 30secs and the scrolling bar stops and I get a lockup/reboot. Safemode works fine so Im guessing theres a registry setting or something somewhere thats trying to overclock something, I tried running A64info again and lowering all settings but when I hit "set" it just rebooted again and its still in the same state... Any help appreciated.

Thats the thing that got me, it doesnt install, its just a stand alone .exe.
Ive done a last know working config and that seems to have fixed it... phew. Didnt think of that off the bat because Ive never done a "last known...." before.
