OMG... Get a new monitor...DELL2405FPW... but somehow, I can't even log into Windows... my monitor shows up an error message, "can't play in this mode".

Is it becasue my vedio card is too old.

I have a GeForce 4200Ti - 128MG (Nvidia), Does this vedio card support this monitor's resolution?

I really need advice.

Thanx.

Not sure what the minimum requirement is to drive this monitor, but I'd imagine you are limited what what the max resolution (1920x 1200) your video card can display. I bet that this has been set by the driver, but the Video card cannot display this (out of range). Try booting into safe mode and changing the default windows resolution down to something like 800x600 (yuk) and rebooting your machine.

Currently, I am downloading the newst driver from company website... hopefully it works... I don't want to buy a new vedio card just becasue of this monitor. I didn't even have PCI-Express. Although I got a P42.8... but it is like three years ago. My Asus P4C delux, does not support PCI- Express. I don't feel like to buy a AGP card when it is about to be out dated.

Just download the newest driver... it is working now... unlike the 2005. THIS MONITOR IS "PERFECT". Absolutly no backlight bleeding... and ZERO Dead Pixel. Sharp image, no ghosting in watching ACTION MOVIES.

GREAT... I LOVE THIS MONITOR.
