Fellow Oblivion SLI users please help!

Oblivion will NOT read my SLI, I need to know if this is a bug with windows 64 bit.

(your drive) My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\RendererInfo.txt

please post the contents of this file if your running SLI !

Using 84.21 forcewave (the newest available for windowsx64)

Thank you to anyone who takes a minute to do this for me, if I have to downgrade to 32 bit windows I will.

i can verify its not working because the "display load balancing" bar does not load on the lefthand side of the screen.

Try forcing "global settings" (in the nvidia control panel) to multi-GPU, which should show Oblivion the second card. That should work until the next 64bit drivers are available that are coded for Oblivion.

i was hopeful with this great suggestion. so i forced global, and MULTI in the control panel, fully removed (including the my documents folder) the game, then reinstalled, opened it, then went to look at rendering info:

2.0 hair : yes
SLI mode : no
Water shader : yes

:( i really have no clue on this one. other guys are saying it works but they all run 32 bit windows.

my only lead is this: in that same file at the top it says:

nv4_disp.dll

perhaps i need an updated version of this for the game to correctly see my computers config. i recognize it as part of the forcewave driver package.

sigh.

Too bad that didn't work, I guess you're stuck until nvidia releases the x64 Oblivion compatible driver. SLI does work in 32bit, so it must be the x64 driver that's causing the problem.
