Can you really return it if you have a dead pixel or something?
 
I didn't see any return policy concerning dead pixels so I assume you can return it for a full refund. They might even pay for shipping.
 
Ordered mine last Thursday and recieved it the following Friday from Newegg. Great monitor ;d No dead pixels that I can see, not that I've tried to look for any yet. Upgraded from a dell2000fp(the big fat 20" lcd with huge bezel).

Having trouble using the DVI though, its stuck in analog mode.
 
Try hooking up only the DVI cable, then boot into Windows. Then shut down and reconnect the VGA cable.
 
I was also thinking about getting this VX2025wm and looking for best price. Today I saw Samsung 215tw at Bestbuy and fell in love with it. It looked so sexy and beautiful. It had 1000:1 contrast ratio. I also liked the fact that it has composite, component, s-video connections. Now I'm having a trouble deciding. Does anyone know about this Samsung 215tw monitor?

Buy.com does not support returns on this monitor, says in their policy that certain items from the following companies (Viewsonic included) must be warrantied directly through the company. So its virtually the same as Newegg, if you have dead pixels or problems, contact Viewsonic, regardless where you bought it from. The restocking fee is another issue...may be some reason for peeps to get it from Buy.com...

I'm loyal to Egg and i prefer that i can get Fedex shipping as an option, regardless what i costs. Should have it tomorrow sometime. Somebody PM me a nice picture host so I can post some of my own shots...
