Post your 3dMark 2005 scores here. (Link to list in 1st post)

3Dmark05: 9205

Everything same as my sig except video is at 505/1.39 MHz
Is that decent for my hardware setup?

I need to get better vga cooling, then I can probably overclock it more.

Finally hit 13K http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1823984
Using 83.90's
MSI GeForce 7800GTX 256mb in SLI @ 500/1310
X2 4800 @ 2.6

Man, it took me forever to get over 13K. With the 81.98's, I was stuck at 12939. No matter what I did I couldn't get over it. Finally, now I gotta try for 13.5, heck maybe even 14K, though I think I'm pretty close to the limit for the 256mb cards using air

BBA X1900XT all stock all defaults, 3dMark all defaults.

10,427 - Omega 3.8.205 (Stock)
10,659 - Catalyst 6.2 (Stock)
11,068 - Catalyst 6.2 (689 / 797)

One thing many people don't think of is to look at what services are running and shut down some of the unnecessary ones that run 24/7 by default (many things can be set to manual and will run just fine when needed) and disable some of the annoying ones. At this point I have 23 or so services running out of probably twice that many by default.

Also, one little trick I've just started doing lately is I created a dedicated partition specifically for the swap file (if you have a whole ton of memory, you might try just disabling instead, but, a lot of things are picky so should be given SOME swap at least.) With a dedicated partition it ensures the swap file doesn't get fragmented across the harddrive. Personally, I'm using a linux swap partition with a nice little driver I found which doesn't just double as being great since it also works with linux, but, also, due to the nature of a linux swap partition, it assumes the swap partition is gibberish until proven otherwise, so basically starts over with a new empty and unfragmented filesystem on every bootup. This guarantees a completely unfragmented swap without the hassle that setting windows to clear the swap on shutdown causes (MS's idea of a solution is to rewrite the whole file to a blank one rather than just simply erasing, so it's TOO secure and takes forever...) I don't know that you'll really notice any difference, but, I figure you're going for every little bit you can do, so it may be worth a shot, and is pretty beneficial anyway. I'm thinking people with 512MB are probably most likely to actually benefit from this. My swap partition doesn't get used very much with my 1GB of ram, though at least when it does it's as efficient as it's going to get. (EDIT: Just noticed your sig -- I'm still not used to the redesign -- ok, with 2GB, you aren't suffering lack of ram very much. You might benefit more from completely disabling the swap than from dedicating a partition to it...)

Will run CF next :) ....

7636

Components listed on sig. Everything stock clocked. 7800GT factory clocked at 470/1100. 81.98 Drivers.

A little lower than my old rig (O/C 2.6ghz Venice, 1gig Corsair VS, Asus Prem board, BFG 7800GT OC) that scored 7754 with 77.77 drivers & clocked 493/1180

I'll tweak/overclock my new system this weekend. We'll see how much of a difference I get :)

Excellent job cent! That's sweet. ;)
Awesome score and great clocks!
Thanks gj :) ...This 4800 seems immune to cold bug @minus temp, its less headache compare to FX60.

Glad you got the 4800 working out for you, that's to bad about the FX60.
I hate headaches :) Keep up the good work..Keep us informed on where you are at.

No tweaking what-so-ever.. I don't mind reducing the performance a little for image quality. I have my cards set to High Quality with no overclock and I still pulled a pretty decent score.. (The cards are at the stock 470/1200 with 82.65 drivers)

well thats weird.... maybe oyu got a REALLY good deal :p

na, default clocks are still XT speed. I have another friend who gets the same thing. 3dmark sees XT's as XTX's. Even in the project search and compare there is no XT choice...

Roughly 10 more new scores are needed before the next update.
Just to let y'all know that I am still here and that I am still updating the list.
I did promise to update this list till the day I die. And I mean to keep that promise.

the thing that really hurts me in your charts mentok is that you dont dicypher which GTX is which... like i dont know which ones a 512 or not

3Dmark05_up_ihhr7M329V7Z.jpg

AMD Opteron 146@270x10
DFI LanParty UT nForce4 Ultra-D
GigaByte 6800GS@530/1200
dual Infineon 512M PC3200@192MHz 2-6-3-3
...

It is time for me to update the list!
This will occur tomorrow or the next day I hope. I am tired right now.

(In my best Dr. Farnsworth voice)
Good news everyone!

I have updated my excel spreadsheet completely tonight.
I would take the screenshots and post them but I have an early job interview with Lockheed tomorrow morning.
After the interview I will find some time to post the list.
I have 1,583 scores and I've added a new feature as well.

Oh my god it's a mirage!
I'm tellin' all y'all it's...the 1,585 score edition of the list!

In the CPU breakdown area I have added average 3DMark 05 CPU scores.
I am sure that makes you sooooo excited. ;)

Mentok, I'll pay you $100 to give us access to that spreadsheet.

Oh wait, crap, my wallet is empty again ALREADY. Maybe I won't...

Seriously though, any chance of this ever? Or do you just not want to risk someone stealing your hard work and claiming it as their own or something (ok, a perfectly valid reason I admit, though at least the hardforum people wouldn't let anyone get away with that.) Ah well, sorry, I had to ask.

Hey you want it you got it.
Tell me where to send it and it is all yours.

As long as no one takes it and tries to make a new thread using all the data.
I want some job security you know. ;)

I have sent it to people such as yourself before.
What I would enjoy is if you took the data and made some nifty graphs or inferences and posted them here in the thread.

Ooooo ooo ooo make us a pie chart.
Mmmmm pie.

I sent a PM with the info. I can't make you a graphics interface, but, if you like, I can dig through my Excel textbook and see if I can't kind of clean things up and maybe make a few things like entering data a little easier if you really want me to. Darned thing cost me stupid amounts of money anyway, may as well get real life use out of it. Pie charts, well, easy stuff. I don't need a textbook for something like that.

I'd like to think that no one would actually willingly steal your hard work, but, while I can't guarantee that, I can guarantee that I wouldn't.

OK so I oc'ed my 3500 and I got a new score... I am happier with this score,
10490
YES, I broke 10,000

**EDIT**
can you please update my score, I want to sit up high with all the other >10000, thanks man.
