Gallery 2 Help (plzplzplzplz)

Ok, so I want to setup Gallery 2 on my Webserver. I already have a Yabb Forum running on it so I have a lil bit of experiance with this sort of thing. The only problem I've had so far is trying to find Windows compatible programs for the requirments. If any of you guys have any suggestions for me please LMK, like maybe where I can find Windows compatible programs :-/. Thanks!

Well I just spent an hour or so trying to get PHP installed. So far I got nothin. I think the main problem is trying to get it to work Apache. Would it be easier with another Web Server? Or maybe another Gallery program (Maybe one that uses Perl like my forum?).

What kind of software did you need (as per original post).

As for PHP, it should be pretty easy to install if you get the installer. The .zip provided by php.net has directions inside it too (or at least it did when I was setting it up).

Apache must also be told to load the corresponding PHP module.

You also need mySQL if you want to use Gallery, and you can find the Windows installer over at www.mysql.com

And the entire install process is pretty much "follow the directions and go"

So first, set up PHP and mySQL, then install Gallery.

Well I found a way to do this really easily. Apachefriends. So I got PHP working and all that. Now I am trying to acctaully install Gallery2. The problem I am having is Mysql, in the database setup. And unfortunatly I can't find any documentation on this step :-/. Am I missing something? I just don't understand what I am trying to do in this step (Gallery2 keeps getting errors on this step). Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Once again I started a thread and answered my own question . Finally got it working. Thanks for the help!
