I have a ton of SATA cables here, but none of them specify whether they're SATA150 or SATA II 3.0gb/s. Is there some way I can identify them? I'm shopping for a new hard drive, and I want to make sure I order an SATA II cable with it if none of mine qualify. Thanks.

it's just a gimmick, there is no special sata2 cable

FYI. the sata2 group that was working on the spec changed their name to sata-io.
