My meager "workstation"...copper desk, G15, old, old monitor (soon to be a new Samsung 19" LCD, can't for the life of me remember the model though; I'll find it), and other knick-knacks. There should be a new 5G iPod in there, but that was taken before this. :)

By the way, those aren't my shoes, they're my brothers (his is the comp next to mine).

An updated image of my final (for now) wiring job. Wanted to try and retrofit an 80mm fan to the side somehow to blow some air on the chipset, but I scrapped that, since the temps aren't bad enough to justify the effort. :p

And that's it. I have more, but I don't want to clutter up this thread too much.

rubasu...what graphical EQ is that for Winamp? What version? I like a larger graphical display like that, can't seem to find one like that....
 
That plugin is about the only plugin that I found that I can leave running all the time, its just so perfect for winamp :)

wonder if I can get it to work with Winamp5..................here goes nothing...
 
I have it working on Winamp5 modern skins.....only issue is that sometimes it crashes when you adjust the height of the window.....

yeah thats the problem, I honestly think it looks the best in classic skin with shaded winamp :)

Whats the best kind of adhesive to use when putting up posters?
Id like to use tape, but it would peel off the paint on my walls. (A nice blue)

what are you using to monitor your server? what is it monitoring exactly? how is that set up? is that linux you're running on your laptop? what distro and what desktop. I like the transparency what do you use to get that feature.
 
Its bassicaly a VNC X server thats running on my linux system, I simply vnc to it from the laptop. Whats running in the Xvnc session?

Few basic things. WindowMaker as the windowmanager. Few Miscelenous dockapps to monitor the network, cpu, memory etc etc

And on the root window I have few eTerms open (transparent xterms i guess) in which i 'tail' few log files, this is actually workspace 1 of 3, on each workspace I have different logs that I tail.

Spare-Flair, how can you put up w/ that place? And those monochrome terminal, we don't use them anymore for over 1 decade. CLean up that place and get rid of those junk.
