Temps

Full load. For me it is useless to know what temps I am getting when I am not using my computer. The only time idle temps are good is when comparing them to full load temps to see if how your cooling system is performing.

Great, what program do you use ? :)

Or do you reboot and get into the BIOS to check? which i assume wouldn't be quite so accurate / user friendly?

everest is a really good program, though it costs a pretty penny. It places nice text icons in your system try telling you whats up :)

I use speedfan, but motherboardmonitor is another good choice. ntune is ok for nforce systems also.
I load the system up with prime95 or CPUBurn and wait about 5 mins.

I was wondering about ntune, I'm gonna give it a shot tomorrow.

Speedfan can sock my bawls until they get fan speed control working on my board.

You try ASUS probe? Usually your best bet is the proggy from your mobo manufacturer.

Yeah, I had it installed initally. It's great for temps, but no fan speed control
