6072 single 7800GT

11,504 2x 7800GT (SLI)

That single card score is the lowest that I have ever seen.
Were you running any programs while the benchmark was running?
I know you have a dual core processor, but it might have caused you to score a few hundred marks too few.

Your right. I copied the wrong number.

It should be 8031.

Bah, I hate you officially now. Your stinking laptop is probably a better gaming system than my desktop. )-: (Ok, the CPU isn't quite the same, but, then in a game the difference between the two won't exactly be very visible -- for that matter, probably only encoding would show much difference.) Wish I had that kind of money.

Just got the new ATI 1900XTX tonight...

3dMark05 - 11633 3dMarks

Gotta love that score on a single card...

System specs in Sig

Actually, you can get a set up like mine for pretty cheap, you just have to wait for a good deal . If you wait for a Dell $750 off coupon or even better, there wras a combined 47% off sale around thanksgiving, you can score one of these for about $1000. Add the aftermarket CPU for $150 and the graphics card for $250 (yup, that's how much it costs) and you can score this laptop for about $1400 if you play your cards right :D

Is that at stock speeds? I'm going to be building a X1900XT based system for a friend within a week, I'm wondering what kind of score it'll get

has anyone got a 3dmark score for the 7800GT AGP?.. im VERY interested in getting one...

Does that actually even exist yet? I'd heard it was coming (specifically because some nice company was smart enough to realize AGP isn't dead, so supposedly they are just going to slap one of those PCIE-to-AGP bridges on there and get some extra money from a large market.) Haven't heard it was out yet though.

So far can't use ATI Tool...and waiting for ORB to publish 1900 scores,,

Yea, sorry bout that. :)
1900 XTX with 6.14.10.6587. Driver that was shipped w/card.
Just received it yesterday afternoon (1/28) so I have not had alot of time with it yet.
As you can see, I'm using OverClocker to clock the core and memory of the XTX.
ATI Tool is giving me fits..

well that is still some awsome Overclocks all over the board.. are you running aftermarket cooling on the XTX?...if its stock... god damn..

Stock cooler, right out of the box so far...

Update:

Well I tried and tried but my score wont go any higher. I guess I will have to settle for being tied for the highest GeForce FX5500 on the list. :D

346 3DMarks
FX5500 @ 333/465
78.01 drivers

Now I'm done with it. On to Oc'ing the 7800GT.

Sweet!!
Some awesome X1900 scores and finally my first Cross Fire score!!
I get to break out the orange font for the frist time now!

For those of you that don't know, a long time ago we decided to use Orange font for Cross Fire like we use Blue font for SLI.

Connect 3d X1900XTX ViVo 512M(stock clocks)
Opteron 165 @ 2.6(289x9)
2G DDR @ 520mhz

11438

ill update with a link when i get back home ><

I need three more new scores and I will update the list and you will get to see my revamped list!

mentok.. i would love to give you a score of my 9700 pro.. lol but.. yeah sorry.. i cant seem to find my 3dmark icon... :p sorry!

sold my GT rather have my car back..

You know, if the person who managed to get 3Dmark05 to run on a RivaTNT2 will tell me how he tricked it, I'll give you a RivaTNT score just for the sheer fun of it. Lol, it'd be pitiful beyond belief. ^_^

I tried using 3DAnalyzer to enable emulation of basically everything, but, it still immediately exits with the error "IDirect3D9::GetDeviceCaps failed: Not available (D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE)" which seems to mean it's unable to ask the video card (or maybe drivers) what the limitations of the card may be.

Finally!!
I am getting rid of that score, if you can get 3DMark05 to run on that card I don't think it can be done.
I am using you as the proof I need to remove that score from the list.
No can anyone show me some proof that a Voodoo 3 can't run 3DMark05?

I have 1,550 scores now, but I am tired so tomorrow I will update the list.
You will not believe you eyes!

Lol, you needed PROOF? TNT/TNT2 can't even do TnL. Definitely not even the most basic form of pixel shaders. Not to mention that most have 16MB of memory at the most (yes, TNT2 added the ability to address more memory, but, not many people had the 32MB version back then.) The only way that person before could possibly have gotten a 3DMark05 score would be to trick 3DMark05 into running despite a complete lack of features, which would mean that not only would it run slow as heck due to software emulation of basically everything, but, it would look like crap for the things that weren't emulated (probably some missing textures and such, definitely missing effects that you can only get thanks to things like pixel shaders.)

As for Voodoo3, well, the main advantage it had over the TNT series would be the whole T-buffer thing probably. Which just means better FSAA performance supposedly (I didn't know anything about FSAA back then, so never enabled it and never found out -- all I knew is that the Voodoo3 did glide-based games great, but, every single thing else including basic desktop operation ran far worse with it versus a TNT2.) Still couldn't compete with good old TwiNTexel in all the games I tried back then, and I know it didn't have even the pre-pixel shader type stuff (eg bump mapping and such) because I didn't see such effects until I got a Geforce 2 GTS.

I say if you want to remove Voodoo3, just pull it out. I'm pretty sure you'd have to use at least as many tricks to get a Voodoo3 card working in 3DMark05. I thought you left TNT2 and Voodoo3 in there for novelty purposes (and, technically I suppose it shows a bit of scale of how quickly hardware is going -- Moore, eat your heart out.)
