Can someone be kind, go under their desk and tell me what ac power supply the wheel uses?

i just would like to know if it uses 12V supply.

:p

I sold mine a short time ago, but if i recall correctly it uses a 24v one.

ok good, i thought maybe logitech was releasing a momo branded psu or sumthin.

fuck! i was hoping for 12v.

Ya don't forget about the polarity if your going to buy a new one.

It's DC, so you'll want one with positive and negative in the same place as the original.
Of course, you could cut and reconnect the wires to reverse it, if you found one with the right plug and voltage but wrong polarity.
Am I right in reading "tip positive" as "negative outside, positive inside" (if this is one of the normal barrel plugs)?

You are correct about the tip configuration.

Looking at Digikey briefly, I see a T376-P5P-ND, which is 24VDC and has the correct diameter plugs according to what I measured on mine (original Logitech MOMO with the leather wheel), but is only 630mA for $16.36. Bumping up to a 1250mA 24VDC with the correct plug diameter and length is a T370-P5P-ND for $37.64.

Oh, the possibilities are endless.... eBay has one listed for $15.00 plus $12  shipping, Digikey has a switching power supply listed too, under the number T944-P5P-ND.

Digikey catalog link: http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/T061/SectM.pdf <-- starting on page 41.

The Logitech part number is GAD-SLU-240A8. I measured the end as 5.51mm O.D. and 2.1mm I.D. with a 9.5mm length. Take that for what it's worth, since I can't be 100% sure that the I.D is correct since there is also a 2.5mm listing, but that's the best I could get without mangling either my wheel or the calipers.
