Anyone using the A8V-E SE motherboard?

Looks like a good board. I love VIA chipsets, would have prolly went VIA if they supported SLI.

If you can hold off for a month I'd wait for the new K8T900 based boards. They will have dual x16 PCI express slots, RAID 5 Support, and HD audio on board. ;)

I am waiting for the K8T900 boards to come out, but I still can't get any solid timeframe. I am hoping there will be more info at CES this week.

I think the Data Corruption stories are overrated. I've used 5 NF4 boards from 5 different manufacturers and have never had any problems with data corruption with file transfers.

Downloading with the active armor Network Access Manager is another story, but it's not worth the effort of installing it anyway. It is common practice not to install it.

Also, Nvidia IDE drivers are notoriously bad. It is common practice not to install them.

Via might get more support with the K8T890 boards if they worked with X2's  . I'm sure it will be fixed with K8T900 though. Never like being a guinea pig though :(.
