I just ordered the new WD3200KS...

Wow, i didn't even know this was out yet, but i found it on zzf for 140.00 shipped!!

Does it actually support NCQ? I have the 250Gig version and it does NOT support NCQ. The specs on WD's website are confusing.

Anyways, it's a nice drive, but expect burst speeds in 170-180 range (not much faster than the Sata 1) Average speed is 55-60.

Run HDTach after you install the drive and see what you get.

Man the WD2500KS was new like a few weeks ago Dang, another upgrade.

Just installed this drive into my computer today. I do not know how to check for NCQ. The drive is fast as hell. Quiet you can still hear seeks if you listen for them during a data transfer, but suspended the drive is quiet and runs cool.

Some websites list this drive as having TLER (raid error recovery). Does this drive have this feature? It is my understanding that this feature is good for raid setups, but bad for single drive setups.
