Lately I have been receiving either the Windows error message "send error report"/"don't send" and then the program closes. Ontop of this, I have been getting the "blue screen of death" roughly 2-3 times a day. Now I have googled both of these, but was not successful in finding a reliable fix. Any suggestions/links?

What are the stop codes of the BSODs....and/or what file are they complaining about?

just flashes for maybe 1-2 seconds and then restarts, don't have time to catch it. my error reports are so bad now, i can't even use firefox.

Go into the System Properties and disable Automatic Reboots. You'll never troubleshoot it until you make this change....which is something that should be done on all builds.

Did you just install any new hardware or upgrade a driver?
I'm going to jump in here because I'm having the same issue and it's blaming it on a device driver. I haven't changed anything in my system.

The issue started after a long period of BF2 gaming. Following the gaming,I was using firefox and it had one of the "firefox needs do to close errors." The error kept happening then my system would restart, over and over. This started a day or two ago but only today did it blue screen.

Since I was playing BF2 I thought maybe the vid card drivers went wacky. After some luck I was able to uninstall the device drivers, boot into safe mode and run driver cleaner and now I just loaded the lastest forceware drivers for my 6800GT. We'll see how long this lasts.

have not had any "BSOD" lately, but the error reports are kicking my ass. can't even run aim or firefox, because error reports load up just as i try to run the program.

Assuming you haven't had any more blue screens, but are still having app issues. Have you verfied the integrity of your disk with a "chkdsk c: /r" and run spyware and AV scans with the latest definitions?

Seems typical of a computer with dirty fans on the cpu/gru and needs a good cleaning. Are you overclocking ? if so set the speed down and lower the latency of the ram or even raise the voltage of the ram.
