STASIS Thermal has been hard at work perfecting their new line of watercooling products, heres a picture of their upcoming full RAM/GPU 7800 Series cooler. It will use BSPP threading and will be able to take almost any kind of tubing. The base plate is made of 100% copper and will be enclosed inside anodized delrin or plexiglass. There is no MSRP as of yet but expect it to be ~100$ USD. It is expected to out-perform the DD blocks with its 'Dimple' Impingment design and flow characteristics.

The Delrin/Plexi tops are being machined as we speak.

ETA is before XMAS 2005.

I take it that what we are looking at is the side that contacts the memory modules correct? I'd really like to see the other side to see how the water actually flows. Somethign about teh machining pattern on that just rubs me the wrong way.

I hope that it comes with the GPU block as well as the mem block for 100 bucks though... mem cooling really isn't of enough importance to performance to warrant wc on it anyways.

But then again... I'd also like to see anodized delrin :D

That looks interesting. Shame they don't do one for the X1800XT, I might have been tempted ;)

they still haven't got any blocks out yet?

been in the design stages for ages, iirc they did have a run of a few blocks a while back, but not in any large amounts.

Looks interesting, but until they actually release any... i'm not that interested.

Oooh nice :) Looks like it will have some good aethstetics to it. Need more pics :p Whats with the hole in the middle?

The hole will hold the pin array over the GPU itself.

I wish consumer9000 had concentrated on a GPU block only and left the RAM out of it.
I have a DD NV-68 and it's incredibly finicky to mount properly due to the location of the screws on the block's outer edge.
GPU only blocks utilize the four holes around the GPU socket and are much easier to clamp down evenly.
Using the outer holes tends to flex the card and lift the block off either the RAM or the GPU.
Took me three remounts to get the NV seated properly and even then DD's own Maze4 Acetal outperformed it.

Yeah thats what I figured, I'm kinda worried about leaks with this type of design though. But I am sure stasis is on it they seem to build quality stuff.

There will be an ATi version in early 06
