After a long absence, I am back for a while. However, after returning home my DFI SLI N4 chipset fan has to be replaced. It sounds like, for those of you old enough to remember, a playing card hitiing the spokes of a bicycle! Has any one found a water cooled block that will work in SLI configuration? Thanks.

I too would like to find a new chipset heatsink preferably an aircooled one. Do they make heatpipe ones like those on certain asus boards?

*EDIT* sorry i just realized you said you wanted a waterblock, so i just kinda stole the thread. I guess i need to learn to read better :(

You must be out of touch with what is going on around here. Check out this thread for the latest greatest chipset cooler. Here is a teaser pic. :D

Thanks TN, I just tried the link to HeRanke.com which offers the block and I sent Sharka an e-mail about availability. I would like to get it ASAP. Any suggestions?

I got mine from Franz at IT-Trade as Sharka couldn't give me a reliable time frame for delivery. I would imagine that Sharka will have them here around December 8th. If you want it sooner than that then give Franz a jingle.

Hey there TN how are Ya.. Been way to busy for myself. I need to find something like this but for 1/2 inch tubing set up. Running with my DFI SLI SR. If they make that way would be cool. but so far all i have seen are smaller diameter stuff. Im sure would help my Oc's a fair amount if i could make that NF4 chip nice and cool..

The EK stuff I listed up there is all sized for 3/8's and up, you can also find some from mips http://mips-computer.de/index.htm

Which I've heard tell are very good.

Got just the thing your looking for and it has a G 1/4 thread so you can go up to about 1/2" ID tubing. :)

More info right here on the Alphacool site. They do ship to the USA and take PayPal. Heard some rumours a ways back that FrozenCPU was going to import their product line, but haven't seen anything as yet.

How about posting a fishie pic?

57.85 euros after shipping to get that thing here to the states. That's about $68  I want to watercool my chipset, but not that bad.

Order something else or get a few of them and sell them to your friends. The shipping fee is good up to about 10 lbs.

Write letters to GI's over in Europe (Germany) and then have them get it for you. They pay only normal US postage and there's no duty or taxes................... :D

Top Nurse: Have you ever ordered from this company before? Any idea if they are a reputable company?

I have not ordered from them, but others here have. Alphacool is one of the top names in German watercooling.

I think those are MIPS coolers? Also from Germany. :D
Aye, pretty little things aren't they? Just ordered some for a project that I'm starting.

What about the Zalman ZM-GWB1 or ZM-GWB2? The ZM-GWB2 is actually shorter than the ZM-GWB1. Below is a pic of the ZN-GWB1. The only thing is it is allum. So you will probably need water additives.

How do you like the Zalman? I just bought one to put in my loop b/c they're pretty free flowing. Is the performance acceptable though? It's just a hole throught the top of the thing!
