I have Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit.

I would like to know what are the best, reliable headphones for listening to music and watching movies?

music/movies/game you name it.. under 70 bucks = Sony MDR-XD400. not for portables though :p

IMO people says the sr60's has zero soundstage really.. which wouldn't make ur movies very enjoyable hehe.

it's like for example in games.. CS for ex.... there are footsteps right.... witht eh sr60... they would seem to be in one place... would be kinda hard to tell the enemy's positions.... with a headphone with more soundstage it would be easier to pinpoint where the enemy is at.

ok i know what you are talking about but i dont understand why movies would be affected..
As far as i know, all size 700 Divx movies are Stereo..

I'd take the grado's over the senns 497's (i have owned) or the sonys anyday. while it is somewhat true that they have a smaller soundstage, it isn't that dramatic. their sound is going to be far superior to the sony's and IMO much more enjoyable and immediate than the senns.

I'm not a huge audiophile, but I like my $35 Aiwa's.
They have great bass response and the widest range of many budget 'phones.

But that's just me.
