COD2 or DOD

I want to play one of the two, only. Which one is better in your opinion?
 
DOD is garbage....used to be awesome...now its awful.

COD2 is SOSOSOSOOSOS much better. The single player is incredible.
 
There is no single player for DoD and the multiplayer for COD2 is pretty redundant and stupid. The multiplayer of DoD is much better IMO. I play competitive in the CAL source league.
 
They can't really be compared. DoD:2 is like a CS:S mod with 4 maps while CoD2 is one of the best singple player FPS out right now + has pretty cool online from what I've played. That instant replay is cool it shows an instant replay of you dying from the person who killed you's perspective.
 
Man, I might just have to try both for myself. DOD is only 20.00 bucks anyhow.

By the way, the rig in my sig should be able to handle COD 2 with decent frame rates and IQ, right?

I agree...I'm a huge fan of the original CoD and was looking forward to CoD2 but the game pace seems to be slowed down quite a bit in CoD2 and I don't enjoy it as much as the original. So far I'm spending all my time playing DoD, it's very fast paced and intense ,so far I like like it alot more than COD2. If you can get CS and DoD off steam as a package for $20, I think it's well worth it. If you get DoD make sure you learn how to play the game. Too many people think it's team death match and refuse to capture flags...that's the only part of the game that really pisses me off.

But I never really liked DoD. It's fun to piss people off in any HL mod though :D
