Actually it is much colder than that there was a problem with the on die thermometer because it is so freakin' cold. :)

Well, seeing as my internet is finally hooked up, and all the "valid" results that I found posted in the thread have been updated. Hopefully not to long before I have a rig of my own again that I'll be able to fine tune and take a run at SuperPi again...I can't wait.

Hmm, looks like I need to get ahold of Kyle again and see if the ORB and Pi threads can get thrown up on the front page again...never did happen this last time, and we really do need some new life breathed into this charts.

Well Tommorow I get my new CPU.. So we will see what we can do..Just waiting on my New cooling as well. Should be very very soon for that. I think I can possibly.... no make that maybe.. No make that Im pretty sure that.... Ahh hell.. Lets just say I have something real special getting put together and it should put me at the top of the list with a FAIR margin.. ;) With ease!!! :D

If you're referring to a run of yours, please check out how other people on the list have posted their scores, I need a proper screenshot. However, you're about 5 minutes off the AMD chart, so if you're just posting that up for the heck of it then w/e. :p
 
I wish people would read the first post and watch what others are doing before they post...ah well.

gjwild, I need you to re-run that test, if you don't re-size the window you can't see the last result of the test...which isn't 24m 07s in your case. It'll be close to a Top10 time...bump the HTT by a few if you can and re-run 32m after re-sizing it.
 
well... i said i would be back... but this got me by surprise... may be able to eek out a bit more performance... what amases me is i 'felt' that this cpu was just as fast as the dothan while gaming :eek:




heres a good question... can a person hold multiple places on the list? :p
beating my dothan record may prove to be difficult... maybe the 820 ill be getting soon will oc well and ill be back for some more ;)

<edit> i got a feel for the cpu now... thats all im going to get without chilled water... somhow 48C is too hot for it.... sigh with chilled water it feels like it would do 4.4 ghz but my chilling setup was dissasembled after my dothan fried my canterwood durring a 275 fsb run and then a pin broke off my ct-479... so thats it for dothan loving... for now ;) </edit>
 
Sorry bro, only one spot on each list per user...you're gonna have to get that chip a little cooler and shave another 36 seconds off your time to clear your 740's time to get any higher up.

Funny, you're running your P4 about 100Mhz slower then mine, but (I'm assuming) due to much tighter memory timings and whatnot, you clocked in at exactly the same time as my old 3.4E running at 4.32GHz. Nice to see my baby is still hanging in there, 'cus I don't see myself coming forward with a new Intel rig anytime soon to back it up...at least i don't THINK so. :p
 
gah... what a sour deal... its a diff cpu and everything... and it beats all the other records...and one per user isnt on the rules... sigh i understand one per cpu... but a whole new setup...

you sure you arnt just trying to delay your cpu being pushed off the list

my time with this cpu is limited.. almost time for another cpu cycle... ill be getting some ES action going fairly soon depending on what i get
so no more superpi runs for this cpu.. not enough time to setup the chilling setup again
 
I think he should be on there twice, hes running 2 different systems after all :cool:

Well, he's been busy, he's got a 780ES (Engineering Sample) that's benchable at 3.7GHz that he's trying to pair up with another X850XT-PE...not sure if his 3.7GHz is just 3DMark stable or not, but I'll give him a shout today at work and see if he can mosey on over with his best time. ;) :D

I'll update the list at work, gotta go get ready.

want to borrow my dothan.... 3 ghz on water may be good enough to match that cpu with your dice tube we already know the cpu can do 275 fsb... too bad my chipset couldnt
