s939 vs s940 heatsink form factor

Hey everyone,

I am going to be building a 1U server box and have decided to go with a socket 939 system rather than than Opteron box (trying to keep the budget decent). Here's the only cooler I have been able to find in this form factor that is available from my local supplier and is in stock:

I've been out of the scene for a while and I'm not too familar with the 754/939/940 form factors.. At any rate, I want to use the thermaltake A1827 1U cooler on a socket 939 athlon64 3000+.. The section it's filed under is K8 but that page says Opteron socket 940.

Can I still use this cooler on an Athlon64 3000+ ?

Both Socket 939 and 940 mount using the same retention mechanism... you should be good.
