how does McMaster-Carr ship?

I just got an order of some tubing, and I didn't actually "buy" it.
I was just going to add it to cart and stuff to see what the shipping was, that's all

and it never asked me how I was going to pay for it, I never told them my credit card number
and the paper inside the package didn't include any costs

do they mail you the bill after they ship you the items? or was it their misktake

if they don't know about it, I'll keep it
 
They ship fast, real fast. I ordered my new tubing at this time last Thursday and got the delivery Friday.

It's weird, you don't know much the shipping is until you place the order, and they just add it to your credit card charge. Shipping for me was like $4, but the distance isn't very great.
 
xtremely fast, I ordered my tubing last night and UPS guy knocked my door today :)
 
No, I wasn't asking for how fast they ship... do they mail you the bill AFTER you recieved the item?
 
They always send me a bill later but I have a business account with them.
 
you cna set up an invoicing system with them but unless your a buisness account, its not worth it , just use a credit card or go down there and pay
 
I was trying to figure out the pricing on some rods, so I put in a ficticous shipping address and hit submit, assuming it would bring me to a page showing the shipping fees. Then I saw "Thank you for playing your order :eek: "

:eek: At least you have some threaded rods coming now......... :D

I did the same thing with a video card one tme, it was on a weekend and you could only cancel by phone during the week.............. :rolleyes: So I ended up with a new card that I really didn't need, but really wanted.

LOL, I'm not gettin shit, some guy living at 123 Fake St. might however :D

I'm gonna check out home depot first before headin to McMaster
 
sounds like USPlastics.. I was going to order extruded acryllic tubing (rigid kind..for something i can't remember) and I was trying to figure out shipping, and they overnighted 6 feet of the stuff to me and called me the next day for my credit card number.. lol
 
Speaking of them, the damn USPlastics lady woke me up this morning to confirm that I had recieved my order :eek:
