Except for that, I was going to guess third-gen PVP in the new cores (or driver enabling of new features in G7x). NV40 had the [broken] first-gen, which became the [fixed] second generation in NV41/NV43; perhaps G7x will add stuff like encoding which was missing from the GF6 series. Remember all the stuff nVidia said was supposed to happen because of the video processor?Brent_Justice said:Somebody in this thread has now guessed correctly.
Skrying said:That was said earlier and he said it was wrong.
I still think its a chipset thing.

Skrying said:Probably, the C51 chipset that will support SLI also and will allow the C51 intergrated graphics to help, or maybe control a second or third monitor.
Yeah because I love integrated graphics and I always get real excited about a new IG platform.foofighter06 said:That would be cool and worth waiting for.

NV will be releasing their 7800gt and rubbing ATI' face with the power of 3 ie SLI/SM3.0/HDR

Brent writes the video card reviews for this website. He knows more about this than any of us, as he has to sign the NDA's. He already said Nvidia was not releasing a new video card at QuakeCon.
NickN said:Maybe 3 GPUs on the same card? Gigabyte had a 6600GT with dual GPUs on it (the 3D1, I think?), so 3 smaller GPUs is probably feasible.
no because it says "so why buy old graphics for you PC"FearlessUser said:Could maybe have something to do with a PS "3" announcement of some sort? Just a wild guess...
that is probably it.kcthebrewer said:7800 (vanilla/GT/X)

he did say that someone who posted in the thread already was right, and no one posted what you said, so that can't be it.T Rush said:7800GTX, 7800GT, and Quadro FX4500
