because Unlike ATI NV actually made sure 7800 cards are available at launch

the point is not much it cost but the availabillity of it. i am pretty damn sure the price will come down once the Ultra variant is released

Welp, that'd be nice and all....but the egg's were taken down.

Maybe nV is making all the sites take stuff down? Then allowing them to put it all back up?

NDA was supposed to end at either midnight or 1am EST...it's 2:35.

*falls out of chair* I want a 7800 gtx so bad. how much do you think the 6800gts will be when the 7800 comes out like 200-250?
 
i cant drop all that money on a video card. i am probabaly going to buy an 7800Gt or just a regulare 7800 or should i just buy the x850xt i was going to get originally?

This is the first generation in many generations from Nvidia that this has happened, while I commend them, I would not give them the undistupable praise.

While, ATi has been even worse than Nvidia here in the states in terms of availability, both have been pretty dissapointing up until this release.

Lol believe me its unlike either of them to have such a good launch.
Currently though the price is a tad too high for the performance gain. None the less its a great product.
 
Yeah. In USD, that's actually equivalent to several bags of pixie stix. IT'S A BARGAIN!

wow, is the US-dollar such a weak currency that 750 of them buy you "several bags of pixie stix" and nothing more.. man-o-man, glad i did not invest in that stuff. :rolleyes:
