So I was manually setting the pump with the front panel of my Aquaero and it froze. I powered down the unit (computer) and waited for at least 10 minutes before restarting. Now my Aquaero has faint red lines through each line of the display and it will not boot. No fan outputs but my pump is running and the LED's are lit on the Aquaero board and AquaStream contoller. Aquasuite does not recognize it anymore either.

Any ideas? Powering down and up do nothing.......

SO this the one you did not want to send back because you guys fixed it. IM f ing with you man, the first aquaero i had did something similar and i tried to reset it and make sure the green power LED on the back was on ETC ETC. It was dead fan headers worked, pump worked but no display and no control. You live close to sharka so atleast you can get a new one pretty quick and if you still have the email address for Chris at AC you could write him and maybe get some answers.

yeah, I still have his addy. maybe he can bring some insight to the problem. Who exact do you do a reset if the display never starts so I have to assume the OS isn't loading?

Bummmmer :( So how about disconnecting everything from the unit and try doing a hardware reset? Do you see any burned components on the board? Well at least Sharka has 5 more Aquaero's coming in next week :D

I would try a reset just as if you really could see something on the display. While powering up hold down the set button for 10 seconds.
