Sharka Order Came in, Few problems.

Theres my order

My Cuplex XT was clean as you can see here

But the rubber circle thing is CUT!!!!, well it's cut in two places, i don't nkow if u can make it out in this picture but here. I was wondering why that black rubber thing was sticking out of my cuplex xt when i got it, was smushed between the copper block and silver part just sticking out. I duno what to do, is this rubber circle thing replaceable?

Another problem i found is that it looks like i got a pretty mesed up looking AquaBay thingy for my pump/resevoir, anyone else aquabay looks liek this? look at the picture here

But heres the rest of the gear i got which turend out fine.

Was this stuff sold to you used ? that aquabay looks like the sample from acouple of years ago. Can you take the white crap off ? also did you leak test the block just to see how bad the cuts would have made things.

Get your money back!

EDIT: if you need a new O ring fast try some industrial supply stores and see what they have

If the seal is cut you wont be able to use your block until you replace it, unless you want a water sprinkler inside your case.
 
All the AquaBays ship like that with the plastic on them. It protects the metal from getting scratched while it is being manufactured. All you have to do is just peel off the white plastic and it will look like brand new stainless steel. If your as anal as me you might want to get the SS polish out and really give it a nice luster. :D
 
Yep it came right off, what should i do about the rubber on the cuplex xt though?

Get on the phone and call Wes at Sharka. Ask him to Next Day Air an O-ring to you. They got plenty of XT's in stock that they get the O-Ring from. BTW, they also have O-rings and other spare parts coming in on this order arriving next week.

or call sharka and have them send you a new block ( next day air early AM before 10 )
 
I think the new block is the better idea so Wes can take pic's of it and send it over to Germany.
 
okay should i call wes? i just emailed him but i duno how long it will take him to respond
 
Edit: He just e-mailed you and if you don't e-mail him back soon he will call you!
 
My twinplex for my NB was missing the plastic screws :(

Some of them come with metal screws and nuts with plastic washers. Was that in the box?

As I said in the other thread please contact Wes about the screws and he can next day air them out to you. And as I have said, Wes is instituting 100% inspections on all A-C equipment until A-C fixes this QC issue.
 
just talked to sharka, they said they shipped out my O ring today, Sharka is GREAT!!!
