I finished up my first WU yesterday. It's kinda odd knowing I did one unit and passed like 100 people at once.

 



I just wanted to see what my own badge looked like. ;)

As always, the stats for my Team [H]ard|OCP are a little behind reality because I was crunching for UD about a month before I joined the team. But, last night my cumulative score went over the 8,000,000 (that's 8 MEEELLION!) point mark. That is also about 40 years of CPU time.

I try not to make a huge deal about these, but this milestone deserves a little recognition. After 4 years, and a lot of patience, I have clawed my way up the ranks, outlasted the upstarts and got to the number 2 spot on the team. The leader, Relic's main squeeze Amy, holds the top spot with over 9 million points. Her output has been negligable for awhile now, so I am closing in.

Unless she hits the gas and fires up her entire farm on UD again, I am going for the number one spot! It will take a few months to catch her at current pace, but it is do-able!

That's friggin' amazing, man. You do the UD team proud. I'd be UDing right now if they came out with a Linux client (or folding if they'd FIX SQUID) but I'm gonna guess you'd have more PPD than I would...

On my former UD team, I had over 500k points, but then I joined up here and switched to F@H - still, you all are going for the cure, and good on you! :D

About 800,000 from the #1 spot. I can finally see the light at the end of that long tunnel. Hell, it only took me a year of catching up to get this close to Amy's mark. :eek:

Impressive numbers there.... Is Amy still UD'ing?
 
I don't think she has posted any numbers in quite some time. If she were, with the farm she was running, there was no way I could have even gotten this close. But I figured that was Relic's fault. :cool:
 
My team stats will not reflect it for a few more days, because I was a loner on this project for about three weeks before joining the [H]orde, but I just hit 9 million points!

My team stats are about 60k behind my real stats, so I will probably blow my own horn again when it happens for the team, and my badge can refelect it.

After that, my sites are set on the #1 spot for the UD team! 400k to go!!! :cool: :cool: :cool:

Edit: Now it is official! (at least it will be at the next update)

According to this mornings figures, my computers have now compiled CPU time equivalent to my entire lifetime to date!

Now admittedly, that would not be much of a recognizable accomplishment if I did not publish the figure to go with it, so here it is:

United Devices Total CPU Time: 43 years: 312 Days: 2 H: 47 M: 27 S

I have now contributed the sum total of my entire life to this project! Well, it sounds good anyway. ;)
 
According to Grid.org, I just topped the 500,000 point mark, and according to HF.com, I am the #4 producer on the team. :D

Anderu, it sure as heck is a testament to your devotion to UD. You have supported and lurked for the entire UD team since the very beginning. I know myself, I just left the forums for a while eventhough my PC's were crunching away. It truly is great to crunch along such a dedicated person!

Now, come on...you need to kick it into gear and make it to #1 in the world. :D :p

For total points, I was at #158 in the world the last time I checked. Still a ways to go, but not nearly so much as when I started! :cool:
